What is it?
Neck pain is often related to muscle tension, joint problems or a cervical disc herniation. Long screen time and an unsuitable workstation can increase complaints.
The examination asks whether pain spreads to the arm, whether headaches occur and about your work setting. If there are arm symptoms, a detailed nerve examination is performed.
The plan may include stretching and strengthening, physical treatments if needed, and ergonomic advice. How quickly relief comes differs between people and is followed together at reviews.
Who is it assessed for?
- People working long hours at a desk or screen
- People with pain or tingling spreading to the arm
- People with frequent neck stiffness
